Overview

MindHue is a personal journaling and emotional wellness app. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

Stored only on your device:

• Journal entries and session content
• Saved artworks and mind colors — for each artwork you save: the date and time, and the sequence of emotion colors from that session. The app uses these on your device to show your rhythm statistics. Your written sentences are never stored.
• Breathing and check-in preferences
• App settings and onboarding state

Your colors are reflections, not grades. As you write, MindHue gives each thought a color — red, orange, yellow, green, blue, or purple. These colors are not scores. There is no good or bad color, no high or low emotion, and the app never rates how you feel. We arrange your colors the only way nature does: in the order of the rainbow, from warm to cool. Your Rhythm simply shows where on that spectrum your saved sessions have been — like light through a prism, it reflects what's there without judging it. Every color belongs. A red day is not a worse day; it is a color of a full life.

Retention: on the free plan, we keep your 7 most recently saved sessions — saving an 8th replaces the oldest, with a warning first. Members on MindHue Plus keep their full saved history until they delete it themselves.

This data never leaves your device unless you create an account.

Stored if you create an account:

• Email address — used only to deliver letters to your future self
• Password — stored as a one-way hash (we never see your actual password)

We do not collect names, phone numbers, location, or any other personal information.

How We Use Your Data

• To deliver scheduled "letters to your future self" by email
• To sync your account if you sign in on another device

We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising or analytics.

Third-Party Services

Supabase — used for account authentication and future-self letter delivery. Data is stored on Supabase's servers only when you create an account. See Supabase's privacy policy.

OpenAI — release session content is sent to OpenAI's API to generate artwork descriptions and session summaries. No personally identifiable information is included. See OpenAI's privacy policy.

RevenueCat — used to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated purchaser ID and your purchase/subscription status from Apple; it does not receive your email, password, or app content. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Data Retention

• Device data is deleted when you uninstall the app
• Account data is deleted when you delete your account
• You can request deletion at any time by contacting us

Children's Privacy

MindHue is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
