MindHue is a personal journaling and emotional wellness app. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Data We Collect
Stored only on your device:
- Journal entries and session content
- Saved artworks and mind colors
- Breathing and check-in preferences
- App settings and onboarding state
This data never leaves your device unless you create an account.
Stored if you create an account:
- Email address — used only to deliver letters to your future self
- Password — stored as a one-way hash (we never see your actual password)
We do not collect names, phone numbers, location, or any other personal information.
How We Use Your Data
- To deliver scheduled "letters to your future self" by email
- To sync your account if you sign in on another device
We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising or analytics.
Third-Party Services
Supabase — used for account authentication and future-self letter delivery. Data is stored on Supabase's servers only when you create an account. See Supabase's privacy policy.
OpenAI — release session content is sent to OpenAI's API to generate artwork descriptions and session summaries. No personally identifiable information is included. See OpenAI's privacy policy.
Data Retention
- Device data is deleted when you uninstall the app
- Account data is deleted when you delete your account
- You can request deletion at any time by contacting us
Children's Privacy
MindHue is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
